池の鯉の上で、松の剪定 ― 2013年06月08日 19:51
あまりに忙しく、ブログを更新する事が出来ませんでした。
まず、来訪していただいた方々に、お詫び申し上げます。
先日、助っ人の職人として、東京のあるお屋敷に行ってまいりました。
どんどん池に足場が組まれるので、何が始まるのかと思っていたら、私が剪定するための足場でした。
クロマツの剪定を任されたので、池の鯉を見ながらの水上作業です。
少し、コワかったですけど。
それにしても、私は昨年からアカマツ、クロマツ、ゴヨウマツ等を何十本手入れしたのでしょうか・・。
だけど・・私は、松の剪定が難しいという植木職人の定説に疑問を感じております。
むしろ、モッコクの剪定の方が職人の技量の差がハッキリと出ると思います。
松が難しいというのは、剪定の時期やみどり摘み、病虫害、枝の誘因や竹支柱による差し枝作り、施肥、様々な管理等々に、総合的な知識と経験が必要とされるからです。
